Griffin Twenty Digital Audio Amplifier

Time to rediscover your favorite non-powered speakers. The Griffin Twenty is a digital audio amplifier that uses an Apple Airport Express wireless base station to stream tunes over AirPlay.

Just clip on your Airport Express, connect your speakers, plug in the Twenty and you’re good to go. The Griffin Twenty delivers 2.1 sound at 20 watts a side (see what they did there?), and includes an RCA out for your powered subwoofer too. With the Griffin Twenty, you can stream tunes from your iPhone, iPod, iPad, or iTunes equipped computer to your favorite bookshelf speakers. The Twenty connects to your AirPort Express through a fiber optic cable (included) for great sound reproduction.

I’ve been waiting for this to launch for months now………..I have a couple of B&W bookshelf speakers collecting dust that are going to be run from this, if it ever will come out. Come on Griffin, it’s not that hard to get things built in China these days. I definitely will buy one, unless something like it comes along first……….
