Kivic One AirPlay Car Streamer

The Kivic One media streamer from Kivic gives you AirPlay where no one else has – in your car.

It’s a small device slightly larger than a deck of cards. The Kivic One supports AirPlay for wireless audio and video. It has an HDMI and 3.5mm aux output. Power comes via a micro-USB to a 12-volt power outlet. This is a great little device you can easily connect to your car stereo for wireless audio and video streaming.

  1. This product looks very interesting.

Do you have a guide price from Kivic AirPlayJ? Quick get your store up!! 😉

As well as it’s intended use, I like the idea of a slightly cut down TV2 STB for home.
‘Just’ needs support for infrastructure wifi – maybe via first run, ad-hoc network, config process? App?!?! then HDMI to 50″ – Airplay audio & video!… sat on the sofa browsing – Airplay over the iPad2 or 4s video mirroring at the same time. Cool. Ideal for folks who don’t do, or can’t get access to, Apple’s iTunes content on TV due to cost or global region etc.

    Keep up the quality info!

    1. I thought I should just check my facts… if I’m seeing this right (It’s late here!) –

According to this wikipedia page, only 6 regions, some of them admittedly large, have stores that allow access to TV shows. I never realised it was so few. This goes to show that such a box could sell to people who cannot get full use from many of the features of an AppleTV2, but desire the idea of video airplay.

      Just a thought.
